We are a family run electrical contracting business based in Cornwall, Andrew Davy Electrical is now celebrating over 40 years in the electrical industry. The company, based in Rilla Mill, near Callington was formed by Andrew Davy in 1982. The company has expanded over the years, and our staff now consists of Managing Director Andrew Davy with 50 years experience in the industry, his two sons Mark and Neal, who both served their apprenticeships with the company, electricians Adam and Chris, Andrew’s wife Denise and also Rachel who helps with the administration and busy telephone.
Whilst most of our work covers the villages and towns in and around Callington, Liskeard, Looe, Bodmin, Launceston, Saltash and Tavistock, we have travelled all over Cornwall and Devon with past and current customers including The National Trust, The Duchy of Cornwall, Cornwall County Council, the NHS, many local schools and comprehensives, churches and historic buildings, local building contractors, local businesses and homeowners and even Plymouth Argyle football club when we first went into business. We have always enjoyed a variety of different work and have built a solid reputation through many years of electrical contracting.
In 2009 the business was moved around the corner to our current premises at Measham, Rilla Mill (pictured), which was converted from an old barn with the help of local building contractors. This gave us the strength and space to expand and the opportunity to look at other technologies. In 2011 we became approved to fit solar photovoltaic panels (PV) and quickly became known for our quality workmanship and the reputation we built from our electrical work had a big factor in the growth of this side of the business.
